Dory Previn was a renowned Emmy winning and Oscar nominated songwriter who went from writing songs for MGM movie musicals (Valley of the Dolls, Inside Daisy Clover, Pepe) in the 60s to becoming a cult figure singer-songwriter in the 70s and early 80s.
